To download Office follow these simple steps: ( Note: Installing additional languages on a computer that already has this version of Office does not count against your install limit.) Microsoft 365 includes the latest version of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and more. Users will be able to download Office on up to five computers and five mobile devices. For University owned computers, please consult with your local IT support for your software needs. Faculty and staff can download Microsoft 365 only for their personal computers, Apple, Android and Microsoft mobile devices. The University of Houston provides Microsoft Office free to every student, faculty and staff member. Phone, Data Network, Video, Work Orders. Computing, Accounts, Office 365, Support Issues. If you have a device running Windows 10 S, you must install Office from the Windows Store - this is because the msi installer will not work on Windows 10 S. If prompted to enter either a product key or sign in, click 'Sign in to an existing Office subscription' then authenticate with your full University email address - not just your username. When your installation file has been downloaded, run the exe file and follow instructions until the package is installed - the procedure for this will vary depending on your browser. Click your avatar in top right, then 'View account'. 
If you already have an earlier version of Microsoft Office installed, it is recommended that you firstly uninstall Office from 'Settings/Apps/Apps & features' and reboot your computer.Follow these steps to download the application via your web based University email account:
